Ginger Foot Scrub Recipe
Makes: ~1 cup (enough for 2–3 uses)
Shelf life: ~2–3 weeks in a sealed jar (store in a cool, dry place)
Ingredients
- ½ cup Epsom salt (detoxifies + relaxes muscles)
- ½ cup brown sugar (gentle exfoliant with natural glycolic acid)
- ¼ cup coconut oil (moisturizes + softens calluses)
- 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger (boosts circulation + warms tired feet)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or zest (fresh scent, mild brightening)
- 4–6 drops essential oil (optional — try peppermint, lavender, or ginger)
Instructions
- Mix the Epsom salt and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add the coconut oil (melted but not hot) and stir until evenly coated.
- Grate fresh ginger finely and stir in, along with lemon and essential oils.
- Spoon into a small glass jar with a tight lid.
How to Use
- Soak your feet in warm water for 5–10 minutes.
- Scoop a tablespoon of scrub and massage onto feet in circular motions, especially heels and rough areas.
- Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
- Follow with a rich foot cream or shea butter and cozy socks for deep hydration.
💛 A little extra love for your feet…
I like to pair this scrub with a pumice stone for rough spots and use as organic as I can.
Here are a few of my favorites:
Pumice Stone – gentle + eco-friendly option
Pure Epsom Salt – unscented, perfect for soaks
Take a few minutes just for you — your feet (and mind) will thank you
